Mississippi pot roast made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 34 pounds chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 56 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the unsalted butter on top of the roast.
  4. Place pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  5. Pour beef broth into the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until tender.
  7. Shred the meat and serve.

  • Adjust the amount of pepperoncini to taste.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
