Ingredients

- 2 pounds of beef tenderloin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet, sear the beef on all sides over medium-high heat until browned.
- Transfer the beef to the oven and roast for 25-30 minutes for medium-rare.
- Remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- In the same skillet, add red wine and beef broth. Simmer until reduced.
- Whisk in butter until melted and smooth.
- Slice the beef and serve with the sauce, garnished with parsley.
