Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for topping)
- Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter, eggs, and vanilla to the yeast mixture.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
- Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Shape dough into small rounds and place on a baking sheet.
- Mix powdered sugar with food coloring to create a glaze.
- Brush the glaze over each round.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes.
