- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 lemons (juiced and zested)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the cod fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the cod from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and let it melt.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Return the cod to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fish.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
