- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Assorted fresh fruits (kiwi, strawberries, blueberries)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In a clean bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add granulated sugar, beating until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in vanilla, cornstarch, and vinegar.
- Spoon the meringue onto a lined baking sheet, shaping it into a circle.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let it cool inside.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Once cooled, top the meringue with whipped cream and arrange fresh fruits on top.
Notes
- Use room temperature egg whites for best results.
- Store the meringue in an airtight container if not serving immediately.
- Feel free to mix different fruits according to your preference.
