Description
This peppermint ice cream cake combines layers of chocolate cake with refreshing peppermint ice cream, perfect for holiday celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 quart peppermint ice cream
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cakes to cool completely.
- Once cooled, layer one cake on a serving plate.
- Spread a layer of peppermint ice cream on top of the first cake.
- Place the second cake on top of the ice cream layer.
- Spread whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake.
- Garnish with crushed peppermint candies.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
