- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the peppermint extract and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled cookies.
- Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top while the chocolate is still warm.
