  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar together.
  3. Add vanilla and peppermint extracts; mix well.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until combined.
  5. Fold in crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  9. Dredge warm cookies in powdered sugar.
  10. Cool completely on wire racks.
