Description

Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are a delicious twist on the classic sandwich. They combine the flavors of a traditional Philly cheesesteak with a crispy egg roll wrapper.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cups provolone cheese, shredded
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ribeye steak, onions, and bell peppers. Cook until steak is browned and vegetables are soft.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in provolone cheese until melted.
  4. Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
  5. Brush edges of the wrapper with beaten egg and roll tightly.
  6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan.
  7. Fry egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
