Description
A hearty dish of pork and sauerkraut cooked slowly in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 jar sauerkraut (about 32 ounces)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in the crockpot.
- Top with sauerkraut, onion, and apples.
- Pour chicken broth over the mixture.
- Add caraway seeds, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until pork is tender.
- Shred the pork and mix it with the sauerkraut before serving.

- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Serve with bread or potatoes.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
