Ingredients

- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1 jar (32 ounces) sauerkraut, drained
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place the pork shoulder in the crockpot.
- Layer the sauerkraut, onion, and apples on top of the pork.
- Sprinkle caraway seeds over the top.
- Pour chicken broth into the crockpot.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until pork is tender.
- Shred the pork and mix with the sauerkraut before serving.
