Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
  4. Place half of the hearts on a baking sheet.
  5. Add a spoonful of raspberry jam to the center of each heart.
  6. Top with the remaining hearts and seal the edges.
  7. Brush with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create icing.
  10. Drizzle icing over cooled pastries before serving.
