Delicious pumpkin thumbprint cookies filled with your choice of jam.
Ingredients

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup jam (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and butter until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture and mix until combined.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Make a thumbprint in each ball and fill with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let cool before serving.
