Ingredients

- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon flavor extract (e.g., cherry, strawberry)
- Food coloring (red or pink)
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
- Bring mixture to a boil without stirring.
- Use a candy thermometer to heat to 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and add flavor extract and food coloring.
- Quickly pour into lollipop molds.
- Insert lollipop sticks and let cool completely.
