Description

A delicious twist on traditional quesadillas featuring juicy smashburger patties and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Form ground beef into small patties and season with taco seasoning.
  3. Cook patties until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove patties from skillet and set aside.
  5. Place a tortilla in the skillet, add cheese, patty, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños.
  6. Top with another tortilla and cook until golden brown.
  7. Flip and cook the other side until cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve hot.
