A delicious blend of snickerdoodle cookies and classic apple pie.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 5 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar (for apples)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup flour (for apples)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine apples with sugar, lemon juice, and flour.
- Spread half of the cookie dough in a pie pan.
- Add the apple mixture on top of the cookie dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining cookie dough over the apples.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Use tart apples for best flavor.
- You can add nuts for extra crunch.
- Serve with ice cream for a treat.
