Description

A refreshing dessert made with peppermint flavor and cream.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 1/2 teaspoon green food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar.
  2. Add peppermint extract and mix well.
  3. If desired, add food coloring and stir until blended.
  4. Fold in crushed peppermint candies.
  5. Pour mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Transfer to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger peppermint flavor, increase the amount of peppermint extract.
