Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Slowly whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and add the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

  • Feel free to add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
  • You can mix in cooked bacon or vegetables for added flavor.
