A hearty Thanksgiving meatloaf that combines traditional flavors with a comforting twist.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup carrots, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, celery, carrots, garlic, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- You can add herbs like parsley for extra flavor.
