  • Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
  • Carrots – 2, chopped
  • Chicken broth – 4 cups
  • Thyme – 1 tablespoon, dried
  • Rosemary – 1 tablespoon, dried
  • Stuffing mix – 1 box

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  3. Gently separate the turkey skin from the meat and rub the butter mixture under the skin.
  4. Stuff the turkey cavity with onion, celery, carrots, and stuffing mix.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  6. Roast in the oven for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally with chicken broth.
  7. Remove foil during the last 30 minutes for a golden brown skin.
  8. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
