A unique twist on the traditional Thanksgiving dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 whole duck, 5-6 lbs
- 2 oranges, quartered
- 1 onion, quartered
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon rosemary
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the duck with salt and pepper inside and out.
- Stuff the duck with oranges, onion, and half of the garlic.
- Rub the outside with thyme, rosemary, and remaining garlic.
- Place the duck on a roasting pan.
- Roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting occasionally.
- Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
- Serve with cranberry sauce.
Notes
- Duck can be substituted with goose or other poultry.
- Adjust cooking time based on the weight of the bird.
- Pair with seasonal vegetables for a complete meal.
