Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup frosting
  • 1 lb candy melts
  • lollipop sticks
  • sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare a cake according to box instructions.
  2. Let the cake cool completely.
  3. Crumble the cake into a large bowl.
  4. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until combined.
  5. Form small balls of the mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Chill the cake balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Melt the candy melts according to package instructions.
  8. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted candy, then insert it into a cake ball.
  9. Coat each cake pop in the melted candy and add sprinkles if desired.
  10. Allow the pops to set before serving.
