Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add egg, molasses, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
  7. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are firm.
  9. Let cookies cool before decorating.
