- Food coloring (pink or red)
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 2 cups powdered sugar (for filling)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- Whip egg whites with cream of tartar until frothy.
- Gradually add granulated sugar while whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Add vanilla extract and food coloring, mix gently.
- Fold in the almond flour mixture until well combined.
- Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let them rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
- Let cool completely before filling with buttercream.

- Use a kitchen scale for precise measurements.
- Let the macarons cool completely before removing them from the sheet.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
