A delicious and festive poke cake perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients

- 1 box of white cake mix
- 1 cup of water
- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup of strawberry puree
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup of whipped topping
- 1/2 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- Red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs.
- Mix until smooth and pour into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes.
- Using the end of a wooden spoon, poke holes throughout the cake.
- In a separate bowl, mix strawberry puree with sweetened condensed milk.
- Pour the mixture over the cake, filling the holes.
- Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped topping and fresh strawberries before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- For a richer flavor, use homemade strawberry puree.
