Sweet and colorful candy hearts perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/8 teaspoon food coloring
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves, then bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla and almond extracts.
- Divide the mixture into separate bowls for coloring.
- Add food coloring to each bowl and mix well.
- Spread cornstarch on a clean surface.
- Roll out the mixture and cut into heart shapes.
- Let the hearts dry for 24 hours before using.

- Use different colors for a variety of hearts.
- Store in an airtight container.
