Instructions

  3. Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Slowly add boiling water and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool completely.
  8. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  9. Frost the cooled cake with whipped cream.
