Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 servings of mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup red wine

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steaks with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. In a separate pan, melt butter and sauté asparagus until tender.
  5. Prepare mashed potatoes according to package instructions.
  6. Deglaze the steak pan with red wine and reduce for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the steak with asparagus and mashed potatoes, drizzled with wine reduction.
