Ingredients

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup almond flour
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for filling)
- 1/4 cup raspberry puree (for filling)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and almond flour.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
- Add granulated sugar gradually and beat until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites.
- Pipe circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let them sit for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Cool completely before filling.
- Mix butter, powdered sugar, and raspberry puree for the filling.
- Sandwich two macaron shells with the filling.
Notes
- Use food coloring for different colors.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Let the macarons mature in the fridge for better flavor.
