A simple and tasty walking taco casserole recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add black beans, corn, and taco seasoning to the skillet. Stir well.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the tortilla chips.
  5. Spread half of the beef mixture over the chips.
  6. Top with half of the cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining chips, beef mixture, and cheese.
  8. Pour salsa over the top.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  10. Top with sour cream and jalapeños if desired before serving.
