Ingredients
- Rice – 2 cups
- Lentils – 1 cup
- Vegetables – 3 cups (mixed)
- Meat (optional) – 500 grams
- Spices – to taste
- Ghee or oil – 2 tablespoons
- Salad – 1 cup
- Pickles – 1 jar
Instructions
- Wash the rice and lentils thoroughly.
- Cook lentils in water until soft.
- In a separate pot, cook rice with water until fluffy.
- Prepare vegetables by steaming or boiling.
- If using meat, cook it with spices until done.
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan and add spices.
- Mix all components together in a serving dish.
- Serve with salad and pickles on the side.
